Aero Mate Joins CASA’s Aviation Safety Pledge
Aero Mate GmbH has officially joined the Civil Aviation Safety Authority’s (CASA) Aviation Safety Pledge, adding its name to a growing list of organisations across the global aviation community publicly committing to the highest standards of safety. The pledge, submitted on behalf of Aero Mate by Fabian Nilgen, was recorded by CASA and last updated on 15 August 2025.
The Aviation Safety Pledge is a voluntary initiative run by CASA that invites organisations which employ or support aviation professionals to formally recognise their role in protecting the safety of their people, passengers, and the broader industry. Participating organisations commit to a set of concrete actions, including investing in ongoing training for pilots and aircraft maintainers, fostering a culture where safety concerns can be raised without fear of retribution, providing crews with well maintained equipment and fit-for-purpose resources, and supporting the wellbeing of their teams so they remain fit to perform.
By taking the pledge, Aero Mate joins other organisations in reinforcing that compliance with aviation regulations is a baseline, not a ceiling, and that a genuine safety culture depends on leadership, transparency, and accountability at every level of an organisation. CASA frames the initiative around a simple idea: as the pledge document puts it, “their safety is in our hands.”
For Aero Mate, the pledge is a public reaffirmation of commitments already embedded in its day-to-day operations, and a signal to pilots, students, and partners that safety remains the foundation of everything the organisation does. More information on the CASA Aviation Safety Pledge, including the full list of participating organisations, is available on CASA’s website.
